Offering up these handsome exotic wooden tapered French rolling pins made from solid single handpicked piece of exotic hardwood!  I'm a big fan of the exotic woods for this application.

Many of these woods are tight grained, extremely hard and durable, with a smooth finish.... they're also simply gorgeous.  No two are exactly alike.

Hard, heavy, sanded to a silky smooth 600 grit, and finished in all natural mineral oil/beeswax.

A favorite of professional chefs, these rolling pins are designed for the artisan baker. They feature the classic handle-less design with tapered ends for easy grasping when rolling out pie, tart, cookie dough, pizza dough, and more.

The first (pictured far left) is a 17" pin made from African padauk, a stunning richly colored red wood, that is nimble and lighter than most exotics. This pin measures 17" in length, 1 3/8" in diameter at the midpoint, and tapers off to 1" at the ends.

The second is a 17" long pin made from solid and highly sought after cocobolo rosewood... a dark, heavy wood that has a variety of tonal hues and very tightly grained, making for a excellent all-around rolling pin.  It measures 1 3/4 at it's midpoint and tapers down to 1 1/4".  Hard heavy, and a classic rolling pin wood ready to take a beating.

The third pin a made from a gorgeous piece of African bocote.  This is also a densely grained, heavy exotic well known for it's elaborate grain patterns and "eyes" that are scattered throughout the grain.  Tiger colored, and excellent for use as a rolling pin.  Very smooth surface.  This is a 16" long pin, and measures 1 5/8" at the center and 1 1/8" at the ends.

The fourth pin is made from Caribbean rosewood.  Heavy, hard, and beautifully colored with reds, purples, and chocolate tones.  This is a compact 12" French pin measuring 1 3/4" at center and tapering to 1 1/4" at the ends.  Perfect for making tortillas, pastries, or other smaller sized baking treats.   Serious baker's tool.

The fifth pin is make from Katalox, also known as Mexican royal ebony.  Like all of the ebony woods, extremely hard, heavy, and tightly grained.... very smooth surface.  Beautiful dark tones and grain patterns.  Gorgeous kitchen tool, ready for work!

The sixth pin is from a handsome piece of African zebrawood.  similar to bocote in grain pattern but a lighter weighted wood and more straight grained.  Very nimble as it has a modest weight.  This is a 17" pin in length, 1 3/8" at center and 1" diameter at each end.

The seventh (pictured far right) pin is from South American marblewood.  Boasting rich tones from yellow, to tans, and dark browns, this is a gorgeous wood to use for a rolling pin and relatively straight and tight grained.  Very smooth to the touch and a nice medium ranged weight which makes it diverse for rolling out many different types of goodies.  This pin is 17" in length, and 1 3/4" in diameter at center and 1 1/8" at the ends.  Just a gorgeous rolling pin, ready for use.

These are made-to-order items, so I can definitely adjust size by request.
