Have a look at this simply beautiful round hardwood cribbage game. Carefully designed and delicately fabricated, this is a unique piece of art and gaming in one.

The board is built from handsome and rich red gum wood and features a three-player track with skunk line. The recessed center of the board has three cut outs, one for the pegs, one for the cards, and one for misc. (ie notepad, pencil). The board has a handsome 2.5D rope border carved into the perimeter and the overall measurements are 13.5" in diameter x 0.75 in diameter. The back features a 5/8" keyhole strip so the board can be hung onto a screw or nail. There are neodymium magnets affixed to the board and lid for firm lid hold down.

The lid is made from light and creamy ambrosia maple. It was cut from a 1.25" stock piece, so I was able to carve a nice 30 degree dome out of it, and this handsome and intricate 2.5D flourish carving. The lid features a finger cut out, and neodymium magnets for firm grip to the base. The underside of the lid has a matching card deck cut out, that the cards (and jacket) fit into it with the lid attached.

A keyhole cutout is on the back so the placard can be properly fastened to a wall.

The block is finished with two coats of semi-gloss polyurethane, followed by a protective layer of mineral oil and beeswax.

Set comes complete with three sets of pegs and Bicycle brand playing cards, as pictured.
