The end grain boards are wonderful to cut on, easy on cutlery, and cutting into the end grain allows the wood to self-heal and naturally close cutting scars.
 
Optional perimeter juice groove measures approximately 3/4" wide and 1/4" deep.
 
Optional black 5/8" x 5/8" silicone grip feet can be ordered that are pre-attached to the bottom corners of the board for added countertop or hard surface grip and stability.
 
The block is finished with two deep penetrating coats of polymerized linseed oil, followed by two additional coats of mineral oil/coconut oil/beeswax, all natural and safe to use with food.
