Dual artistry at it's finest... I took the photo and made the frame from scratch.
 
I'm especially proud of this project because it allows me to combine two beloved art forms.
 
I am offering ready-to-hang photo art (such as this framed print, complete with UV resistent glass, matting, acid free backing, dust paper covering, and hanging hardware).
 
One of the unique things about my art is that for the prints I choose to frame, I customize and design the frame with that specific print in mind.
 
This particular frame is built from solid red oak, and is hand finished with two coat of satin polyurethane finish.  The spline joints on the frame are made of walnut.
 
There are no metal pieces (staples, nails, etc.) in my frame construction, rather precision cut and glued miter joints reinforced with hardwood spline joinery in all corners.
 
Truly handcrafted art and a one-of-a-kind framed tiger picture!
 
Outside frame dimensions are 27 3/8 x 23 3/8 x 3/4 inch thick. It holds an 11 x 14" high definition photo print of "Tiger Eyes" and is signed by myself.
 
The mat is a charcoal/white color and is bevel cut.
