Have a look at this beautiful, colorful and unique colored pencil pot.

Measuring approximately 7" in diameter at the base, 6" in diameter at the mouth, and 6" tall, this bowl is considered large for the sizes I make.
 
I used approximately 600-700 pencils in making this handsome bowl.
 
Lathe turned from colored pencils which have been sealed together in epoxy resin glue to create these unique and mesmerizing patterns.

Sanded down to a silky smooth 600 grit, finished with three protective layers of Woodturner's Polyurethane, followed by two coats of conditioning lotion (mineral oil, coconut oil, beeswax, and vitamin E). The finish has a satin sheen to it.
