This fully functional chaos end grain cutting board is simply stunning to see in person. Each unique in it's own right with own wood combinations and patterns. Built to last and very beautiful!!

I reduced what was a huge pile of scraps (should've taken a before photo!) and cut and planed and cut and joined and cut and glued and cut and cut and glued and cut....  lol   and transformed it all into this beautiful, sturdy, and useful kitchen tool.  As you can imagine, these were very labor intensive.

Many different woods went into them including: cherry, birdseye maple, hard maple, tiger maple, curly maple, American walnut, Peruvian walnut, morado, Honduran rosewood, cocobolo rosewood, bubinga, teak, dalmata, koa, marblewood, Gaboon ebony, Madagascar ebony, wenge, sycamore, canarywood, cedar, mahogany, yellow mora, padauk, red oak, white oak, poplar, ash, hedge, ipe, bloodwood, Caribbean ironwood, purpleheart, and yellowheart.

These are large countertop boards measuring approximately 24"x16"x1.5" and one one side I carved out a perimeter juice groove with adjacent juice channels for cutting wet and juicy foods, and the other side has no grooves (flat) to maximize cutting space (364 sq. inches).

Both boards are fully reversible so both sides can be used for many purposed, and no two are alike!

The color variations in these blocks is highly contrasted and varied, and like all of my blocks, are properly sealed and safe for preparing and cutting food.  

Finished in three full coats of  food-safe beeswax, mineral oil and coconut oil.  

It is optional to have the board arrive "as is".... or optionally the board can arrive with 5/8 x 5/8" black silicone grip feet for better stability and countertop grip.
