Measuring approximately 5" tall and 6" in diameter, this handsome, one-of-a-kind "Scatter Bowl" is made from a few hundred individually cut domestic and exotic wood pieces and epoxy resin adhesive.
 
This beautiful one-of-a-kind hardwood segmented decorative bowl is handmade from start to finish.

The dried epoxy is more unpredictable than turning hardwoods so I tend to take extra time and effort in making sure that 1... the bowl doesn't explode or come flying off of the lathe at me (been there, done that!), and 2... the bowl finishes up as intended.

Finished in 6 coats of woodturner's polyurethane to a high gloss, beautiful sheen.
