This autumn themed framed picture is built from spalted maple, has a 1/4 inch walnut inlay around the edges of the front of the frame, and is hand finished with two coat of tung oil finish.
 
There are no metal pieces (staples, nails, etc.) in my frame construction, rather precision cut and glued miter joints reinforced with hardwood spline joinery in all corners.
 
This autumn themed framed picture is truly handcrafted art and a one-of-a-kind piece. Outside frame dimensions are 19 3/8 x 23 2/8 x 3/4 inch thick.
 
It holds a 16 x 20 high def photo print of "FireFall" which I captured, and is signed by myself.
 
I decided not to mat this particular photo because I simply thought it would look more appealing without.
